Dancing Dolls
Tuesdays 4:45 pm-5:45 pm Ages 5-7 yrs
This class will educate dancers in the
development of basic ballet and tap movements.
Miss Belinda will provide an atmosphere where
your dancer gains knowledge and self esteem
through the art of dance. |
Broadway Babies
Fridays 9:30 am-10:15 am Ages 3-4 yrs
Previously known as Combo 1 class. These dancers
will develop and learn how fun dancing and
musical theatre can be. This class will
incorporate Ballet and Tap technique as well as
bringing out the best in your dancer. |
Frederick Follies Fridays
4:30 pm-5:30 pm Ages 6-8 yrs
An advanced class that will incorporate jazz,
tap, ballet and musical theatre. Miss Belinda is
very excited to open up a whole new realm of
dance instruction to those dancers who are ready
to experience “Broadway dancing and
choreography”.

attire.

or Dance Dimensions in downtown Longmont.

Dance classes are taught by Belinda
Gower
Belinda Gower started dancing at age 4 and
continued with The Kit Andree Dance Company in
Westminster, CO through age 18. Belinda was then
selected to tour with the internationally famous
Dance Caravan world tour. She demonstrated and
performed in major cities across the U.S.A.
including New York and Las Vegas. After studying
with choreographers and dancers around the
nation, Belinda continued her education at the
University of Utah. For the next six years,
Belinda continued teaching and choreographing in
Salt Lake City and received her bachelor's
degree in family communication and a minor in
dance from the University of Utah. Miss Belinda
(as the students call her) has an incredible
ability to teach all ages and levels of dance
including jazz, tap, ballet, and hip-hop.
Belinda loves children and loves to teach them
and you will see her enthusiasm through your
children in every class she teaches. We are very
excited to have "Miss Belinda" teaching at the
recreation center as a dance and SilverSneakers®
instructor and look forward to many talented
children learning and experiencing the joy of
dance!
