TRI-TOWN TROT
Carbon Valley Recreation Center will be hosting the 6th annual TRI-TOWN TROT in conjunction with the “4th at Firestone” celebration on July 4th. This event is a family 5K fun run/walk. The race course will have participants starting at Clem Dufour Park in Dacono and will travel through Frederick on Frederick Way and Hawthorn Street. The finish line will be at Hart Park in Firestone. This course is not a certified course.

Registration: Race registration forms are available and need to be filled out for all participants and returned to the Recreation Center located at 701 5th Street in Frederick. Race day registration will be available from 7:00-7:30 a.m. at race start location with a $5 additional fee. We suggest registering in advance.
Price: $20R/ $25R (advance registration)
$25R/$30NR (day of race)

Price includes a t-shirt, race number and snacks after the race.

Relay for Life Event
This is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams (families, friends, businesses & organizations) of people camp out and take turns walking for 18 hours. Relay for Life brings together millions of people to raise money to help prevent cancer. The event also honors cancer survivors and remembers those lost to cancer. Get a team together today and help with the fight. .
