Summer Camps

SUMMER SOCCER CAMP
Challenger camp FUN continues! This is our 7th year of camp and numbers continue to grow. Participants learn a variety of skills and FUN will be emphasized. Trained British soccer coaches conduct the week long camp.
Date: July 28-August 1 (Monday-Friday )
Ages: 3 yrs	11:00 am-12:00 pm	$62 (price includes ball & shirt)
Ages: 4-5 yrs	9:00-10:30am session	$78 (price includes ball & shirt)
Ages: 4-5 yrs $78	1:00 pm-2:30 pm session	(price includes ball & shirt)
Ages: 6-8 yrs	9:00 am-12:00 pm session	$100 (price includes ball & shirt)
Ages: 9-16 yrs	1:00-4:00 pm session	$100 (price includes ball & shirt)
Location: Hart Park (4th & Grant) in Firestone Registration forms available at the Rec. Center. Must sign up 1 week prior to camp. A $10 late fee will be charged if payment is received after July 18th.

YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP
This 3-day camp will be instructed by the Frederick Warriors High School coaching staff and will emphasize offensive & defensive fundamentals and techniques. Non-contact camp-No special equipment needed.

Dates: June 24th-26th. (Tues-Thurs)
Time: 9:00-10:30 am Ages 7-9 yrs
1:00-2:30 pm Ages 10-12 yrs
Ages may be combined if not enough numbers/division
Fee: $50 per player (includes t-shirt)
Location: Frederick High School football field
Deadline for registration: June 19th

JUMP ROPE MINI WORKSHOP - $30.00 for resident, $36.00 for non-resident
Did you know that Jump Rope is on its way to a possible inclusion as an event in the Olympics? Sign up for this 3 hour rope skipping workshop taught by world champion rope skippers from Boulder, Colorado and see why! This workshop is for first time/beginner jumpers to advanced competitive athletes. Guaranteed to get your heart pumping and your feet moving. These experienced and world class instructors will be teaching and performing single rope skills, chinese 2, 3 and 4 wheels, double dutch and long ropes. Lace up those sneakers and grab your water bottles - you’re going to need it for this one!

Summer Art Camp
This fun and instructive art activity, for children six to ten years old, is in its fourth season. Art Camp meets twice a week for eight weeks. New this summer, children will experience the art of paper making and will bind their own diary or scrapbook. Art Camp is for children with the creative aptitude to enjoy drawing and painting and the desire to learn more about making things by hand. Artwork created in Art Camp will be exhibited at the new Carbon Valley Regional Library.
